First coat
This weekend, we painted the first coat in the basement. We used primer to cover the dark wood paneling and tinted ceiling paint to make the job easier. When the ceiling dries, the paint will turn white. Continue reading

First landlord duty
We had to repair a dripping faucet upstairs. Reno-depot supplied us with a free replacement part because the faucet has a lifetime warranty. There is no shut-off valve under the sink so we needed to close the main water entry downstairs before we can dismantle the faucet. Continue reading

Dryer Vent
Our dryer is installed in the basement bathroom because there’s no dryer vent upstairs. We have to wash our clothes then run down in the basement to dry them. Today, Ventstat installed the vent in our kitchen. Now, we’ll have to find someone to move the dryer. Continue reading
