We finally got possession ofthe house.We are now the owners of a 51/2 duplex with 2 car garage a modest backyard and a bachelor apartment in the basement. The upstairs tenants are a young couple. The bachelor is not rented because we need to reinstall the kitchen.

Now that the first floor is empty, we can see what has to be done. All the rooms except the kitchen have to be painted and the floors need sanding. The kitchen is not practical for 2 vertically challenged women. Most of the cupboards are too high and there aren’t enough of them.

I see many project$ ahead!
